  • How do I apply the decal
Here are some general instructions to help you apply a small decal successfully: Clean the surface: Ensure that the surface where you plan to apply the decal is clean and free from any dust, dirt, or grease. Use a mild detergent or rubbing alcohol to clean the area and let it dry completely. Positioning: Decide on the desired location for your decal. You can use a pencil or masking tape to mark the position lightly before applying the decal. This will help you align it correctly. Prepare the decal: If your decal comes with a backing paper and transfer tape, start by peeling off the backing paper. Be careful not to touch the adhesive side of the decal with your fingers as it may reduce its stickiness. Application: Once the backing paper is removed, align the decal with the marked position on the surface. Slowly and gently press the decal onto the surface, starting from one edge and working your way to the other. You can use a credit card or a squeegee to smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles as you go. Transfer tape removal: If your decal has a transfer tape, slowly peel it off at a sharp angle, taking care not to lift the decal from the surface. If any part of the decal starts to lift, press it back down and continue removing the transfer tape gradually. Finishing touches: Once the transfer tape is removed, press down on the decal firmly with a clean cloth or your fingers to ensure it adheres well to the surface. Smooth out any remaining air bubbles or wrinkles by gently applying pressure from the center outward. Let it settle: Allow the decal to settle and adhere to the surface for at least 24-48 hours before exposing it to water or extreme conditions. This will help ensure a long-lasting bond. Remember, these instructions are general guidelines, and the specific application process may vary depending on the type of decal you're working with. Always follow any instructions provided by the decal manufacturer for the best results.
